Uncovered: Who's selling
the most Fender (TM) guitars on eBay?
Recently I received and email from a
professional guitar player (will remain
anonymous) asking me why we build guitars
similar to Fender (TM)? This question gets
asked a lot and yes you would say we're
lumped in with hundreds or even thousands of
other companies that do the same thing. We
see it a bit differently because we see it
as providing a service. Of course our
headstock is different but the shapes of our
guitar bodies stay pretty much tried and
true to what has lasted over 60 years and
counting. Our guitars are hand-made and our
woods we use are local to us in Maine and
New England. We pride ourselves in making
custom, hand-made instruments in a vintage
style.
But why Fender (TM)? Keep
reading...
We like these guitars. Most people do and we
make what we know and do best. Almost all of
the guitarists that I wanted to play like
all played a Fender so what's
wrong with that?
It's crazy how much people love Fender
Guitars and want to build or play one. Let's
go a step further ...
We could have researched a
few other eBay stores but this one in
particular has always caught my interest. Unless you never have looked for guitar
parts or a Fender guitar on eBay, you can't
help but running into eBay Seller -
reliablefender or they call themselves
"Stratosphere". Matt and Christine Gibney
have found the secret formula on parting out
original Fender Guitars and selling these
parts at an incredible rate. Some
purest think this is wrong but there is
nothing stopping them as their niche eBay
Store is booming.

of us that sell on eBay this is enough to
make you think of the power of online
selling and the popularity of the Fender
brand.
In 3 months reliablefender has sales close
to one million dollars which means that
their eBay business does close to 4 Million
annually. You can draw your on conclusions
on where the product is coming from, many
have inquired but once again, the power of
eBay is making deals under the radar.
New or old, whole guitars or in pieces -
the Stratocaster (TM) & Telecaster (TM) will
live on...
